How to Replace an audi a3 key fob replacement G28 Engine Speed Sensor

The sensor is used to connect the G40 Camshaft position Sensor. The ecu needs to know when the crankshaft is TDC and where the camshaft is so it can trigger spark and injectors accordingly.
If this sensor fails the ECU will display a P00160 code which means the Crank Shaft and Intake Camshaft aren't in sync and could indicate the chain is stretched or a jump link on the upper timing chain. The code won't show without the additional information provided by other sensors (G4 or G40).
Testing is a bit challenging because there are two pins for the connector and they serve different purposes however the best way to test it is by measuring resistance between the sensor and the ECU. It should read around 1000 ohms if the sensor is at full operation. If you're experiencing issues with this sensor, look for signs of coolant or oil in the connector bay.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, as i was accelerating off the highway paytoll at maximum speed, i noticed a huge reduction in power. It was as if the engine was running out of gas. Or my injectors were not firing. This morning i pull out the spark plugs, three were drenched in gazoline, the 4th one was dry. I placed a tissue over each hole in the injector and when I start the engine without sparks, the three that have gazoline pop right out. The fourth one remains closed. I inspected the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55, 30/55 and 48/55. I got 0ohm. I'm assuming the issue is elsewhere.
I also tried to reset PID but without success. The car will start when the G28 is disconnected, but it runs fine with the G28 connected. However, the intermittent misfire problem persists at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62), even when unplugged, still shows a temperature of -49c. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar when the actual pressure is zero.
I don't know what to do. I feel like i've pretty much all other possibilities out. But i am afraid I may have missed something. If anyone has any suggestions, please share them! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump in the g28 can be activated by a signal from the RPM sensor. The GM-style sensor is identical to the G4 and they both work in the 80, 100, 200, UrS and RS2 cars so you can easily find one at a wrecking yard or from a parts store. Testing them is easy - put your DMM in resistance mode and measure the resistance between pins 1 (with the bump on the connector's end up) and 2 (2nd from the left on the black connector's end). They must be infinite Ohms.
